HAHEI BEACH HOUSE
2017
The brief was to design a new dwelling to replace an existing holiday home, to accomodate three families when they all holidayed together. Communal living balanced with the need for retreat and privacy.
Given the benign summer climate, the external spaces, designed as an extension of the house, were as important as those created within the house.
